The Soul Of
In the sacred realm of Gujarati folk music, one name echoes like an eternal melody — Praful Dave.
Born into a home where music breathed through every wall — where the voice of his mother, Bharti Ben, and the artistry of his father, Praful Dave, wove a divine atmosphere — young Hardik began his musical journey at the tender age of seven.
Yet within him burned a restless flame — the eternal yearning to create anew.
In 2018, he embraced the humble iktara, India's most ancient instrument, and made a bold declaration that would change his path forever.
“From now on, I shall sing the bhajans and folk songs of this land in a new voice, accompanied by the timeless strings of the iktara.”
And thus began a magical voyage. From the simple otalas (porches) of villages, where dust met devotion, the soulful strains of the iktara rose and soared — reaching the grand, glittering stages of Mumbai's magnificent NMACC auditorium.
But for Hardik, music has never been merely for listening. It is a sacred instrument of transformation — a bridge to inner change. With this vision, he began weaving unique musical gatherings and sowed the seeds of deep community building.
Together with the youth, he rekindled Navratri in its purest, most authentic form — not as spectacle, but as sacred celebration and collective bonding.
He also embarked on a beautiful journey called Shabd Parikrama — a yatra of divine words and bhajans — guiding young hearts toward awareness, understanding, and reverence for this timeless spiritual heritage.
For India is not a land of mere concerts and shows. It is a civilization of grand, soulful baithaks — intimate yet majestic gatherings where art, devotion, and community meet as one.
Carrying this ancient wisdom forward, Hardik Dave now prepares a magnificent baithak — a sacred assembly where Gujarati folk and bhajan music will bloom in a new avatar, offering a bridge between the eternal and the contemporary.
With this, Hardik Dave is not just performing — he is birthing a new tradition of presentation. One that honors the soul of Bharat. Neither concert, nor show, but a living, breathing offering to Indian civilization.
And in the years to come, his mission shall continue — a passionate campaign to present Indian art in the way it truly deserves: pure, powerful, profound, and deeply rooted.
Welcome to the
world of Hardik Dave
